Welcome to His House Media Group

People in Denver can compete with Hollywood. With the new digital technologies, distances are not that important anymore. Denver already has sound stages, great music production facilities and wonderful people. His House Media Group (HHMG) is a business created to bring the visions of writers to the screen using all local talent and investors. HHMG is a totally new business concept evolving with the new digital market. The concept is to let the people working on a project own a piece of the project from the beginning. I think people should be paid based on time involved and also a percent of future profits. This enables people to get in on the ground floor who haven't got a lot of experience, connections, credits, and all the other things needed to get a "job" working in media. Not only should the people who work on a project be part of the business, they should have input into the business model. It is clear as we look at current business models in Filmmaking and Music that "Old School" thinking has brought companies to bankruptcy. Only the innovators can compete in this changing market. However there are principles which will never change; a great story can make a great movie (or song). Integrity and a good name will insure a long lasting business future. The laborer is worthy of their hire. You reap what you sow. Eternal principles never fail, but 1940's Hollywood business models did fail in the 70's. I am excited about living in Denver as a filmmaker. We have a great climate with beautiful sunsets, diverse terrains, lakes, rivers, streams, and mountains all an hour or less away. The climate is relatively mild year round, and with new digital camera technology a blustery day can add ambience to a scene. Finally Denver has some of the nicest and hardest working people in the world. I was amazed when I moved here from Detroit how polite folks were. I've lived in L.A. and you can have it; pollution and miles and miles and miles of city. SO if you want to work in movies, don't run to L.A. like the rest of the lemmings; stay here and be a part of the new wave of film producers. I will be looking for your input so drop me an e-mail.
